New Story: The Automaton Yards

I’ve added a new short story to my stories page, The Automaton Yards. It depicts the infamous incident from Leha’s youth when she and her brother sneaked into the local Automaton yards, defying law, common sense, and most importantly, their parents. It’s a lighter story than most anything else set in the World Spectrum, a little vignette from a happier and more peaceful time.

As always, I hope you enjoy it.

New Story: In Her Sister’s Pose

I have just added the first of several short stories set in the World Spectrum universe to this site: In Her Sister’s Pose. Set roughly twenty years before Rage of the Old Gods, it’s a more intimate tale than the books, telling the story of a young Urannan girl’s struggles to cope with her sister’s sudden illness.

In Her Sister’s Pose serves as background to one of the major characters in the series. It’s completely free, and it should whet your appetite for the upcoming launch of the books.

Those of you who followed my previous blog, Superior Realities, may have already read this story, but for those of you who are coming in fresh, I hope you enjoy the story.

In the coming weeks and months, I will be adding more free stories to expand the universe of the World Spectrum, so keep checking back.
