It’s time for another round of updates here at the official site for the World Spectrum novels. With the releases now well behind us, I’ve had time to give attention to more peripheral things like musing on the craft of writing, (utterly unrealistic) dreams for the future, and what similar stories exist in the world of fiction.
First, I have an article talking about the hotly contested issue of whether planning ahead or flying by the seat of your pants is a better strategy for writing a book.
Next, I’ve done up a purely hypothetical and thoroughly unrealistic ideal cast list should the World Spectrum series ever be adapted to film.
I’ve also done up a recommended reading list for those who have enjoyed the World Spectrum series. While I’d like to think my take on the idea is somewhat unique, I’m far from the first author to blur together the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and steampunk.
Finally, I’d like to remind every that I am still offering free copies of book one, Rage of the Old Gods, in exchange for honest reviews. Click the link for details.

Remember to follow my other blog, Superior Realities, if you want all the latest news on the World Spectrum series, as well as my other projects and interests, as they happen.
As a reminder, I am still seeking reviews for the first book of my World Spectrum series, Rage of the Old Gods. I will provide one free to copy to anyone interested in reviewing the book on a blog or a popular social media profile.
You don’t need to be a professional book reviewer, nor does your blog/profile need to be devoted to book reviews or sci-fi/fantasy topics. I’m just looking for some greater exposure, so all you need is a reasonable number of followers and/or traffic.
You can also feel free to be as honest as you like in your review. I welcome all criticism so as long as it is constructive. Of course, if all you want to do is gush and tell me how brilliant I am, well, I wouldn’t exactly object to that, either…
If you’re interested, send me a message via my contact form with a link to the blog or social media profile where you intend to post your review.
Don’t have a following yourself but know someone who does? Let them know about this post.
I’m also looking for reviews of all the World Spectrum novels on Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, and other venues where the books are already sold or promoted, though I’m not offering free copies in exchange for those. If you’ve read the books, please head on over and post your reviews.
